Passport, which has not yet served the normal ten years lifespan. All Machine Readable Passports (MRP) shall remain valid till December 2010. You are advised to apply for the Standard Biometric Passport. Please follow instructions for epassport.

To apply for epassport, visit the Nigeria Immigration Service Website:  http://www.immigration.gov.ng

Otherwise follow the instruction below:

• Completion of the Passport Renewal Form (P.25);
• Appropriate passport renewal fee paid;
• Submission of the expired passport;
• Application must be submitted in person or by post through special recorded delivery (including return postage);
• (PAYMENT BY CASH OR CHEQUE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE).
